RULES · READ BEFORE POSTING
THE RULES
Short version: do not put other people in danger. Long version below. The list is deliberately short enough to actually read.
NO DOXXING, THREATS, OR COORDINATED HARASSMENT
No names, addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, family details, or locations. No pile-ons. This is the rule enforced without debate.
NO ILLEGAL CONTENT
No CSAM, non-consensual intimate images, graphic violence, or disaster porn. These are actioned first and discussed later.
STAY ON THE BOARD
Every board has a subject. If it does not fit, use /r/ Random. Repeating the same grievance everywhere is spam, even if the grievance is real.
NO SPAM
No floods, repeated identical posts, botnets, referral links, or SEO nonsense. The captcha and rate limiter are the first line; moderation is the second.
ARGUE ABOUT IDEAS, NOT PEOPLE
You can be rude about arguments. You cannot threaten people, target them across threads, or turn the board into a hit list.
NO IMPERSONATION
Do not pretend to be a moderator, admin, official, journalist, or another poster's tripcode. Capcodes come from the server.
SOURCE YOUR CLAIMS
In news threads, link the notification, order, report, or original reportage. A cropped screenshot is not a source.
NO PERSONAL DATA IN IMAGES
Blur faces, number plates, documents, and phone screens before uploading. EXIF is stripped, but visible details are your responsibility.
PASSWORDS ARE NOT ACCOUNTS
A post password lets you delete your own post. It is not a profile or reputation. Do not reuse a password used elsewhere.
REPORTS ARE FOR RULES
Use the report button for illegal or rule-breaking content, not opinions you dislike. Abusing reports is bannable.
