What we collect

Posts, replies, names, tripcodes, optional images, reports, and moderation records are collected when you submit them. No account is required for public posting.

Raw IP addresses are not stored in the application database. The server creates a salted one-way hash for rate limiting, duplicate detection, bans, and abuse prevention. Proxy and infrastructure providers may retain connection logs under their own policies.

Why we use it

We use this information to operate the boards, prevent spam and abuse, enforce rules, process reports, remove illegal content, maintain security, and comply with valid legal requests.

Retention

• Deleted post content is removed from normal display immediately.
• Deletion metadata is retained for up to 30 days.
• Reports are retained for up to 180 days after resolution.
• Expired bans are retained for up to one year.
• Moderation logs are retained for up to one year.
• Information subject to a legal hold may be retained longer.

Security and sharing

Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Uploads are inspected and non-animated images are re-encoded to remove metadata such as EXIF/GPS. We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers or authorities when necessary to operate the service, protect people, or comply with law.

For privacy, access, correction, deletion, or grievance requests, email speakforassam@gmail.com with enough information to identify the request. Do not send passwords or sensitive personal information by email.
