THE IDEA
A PAPER THAT BELONGS TO ITS READERS
This is not a newsroom pretending to speak for everyone. It is a small, independent platform for Assam: reporting from the ground, useful context, strong opinions, and room for disagreement.
The editorial side is built by contributors and editors. The forum is open to everyone. The two sides meet when readers discuss a story, submit a lead, or point out what the paper missed.

There are no profiles, followers, likes, or algorithmic feed. Threads move when people reply and eventually fall into the archive. You can use a name, a tripcode, or nothing at all.
Anonymity is for participation, not impunity. Threats, doxxing, illegal material, and targeted abuse are removed and can be reported to moderators.
