When the institutions that are supposed to report the truth answer to someone else, the truth becomes a commodity — and ordinary people lose their voice entirely. Speak freely on a social feed and your words are swallowed by an algorithm, lost under noise that was never meant to inform anyone.

Somewhere between the people who are living a story and the people who need to see it, the story dies. The people closest to the truth have no platform, and the people who need the truth have no way to reach it.

Knowledge has always travelled by the written word — carved on stone, printed in ink, typed on a screen. When that chain is broken, knowledge dies with it. We believe the news that matters deserves a spotlight. We believe the person living a story should be the one telling it. And we believe that when power is unaccountable, someone must say so out loud.
