Prime Minister Narendra Modi identified three kinds of forces as enemies of India during his address at a Dussehra celebration in Delhi’s IP Extension on October 20, 2026. He called on the country to confront these challenges together.
Speaking after the Ravan Dahan ceremony at the DDA Utsav Ground, Modi referred to forces that damage the country’s pride and honour, people who divide society, and a mindset that harbours hatred towards Indian culture. He emphasised the need to strengthen national unity and preserve the country’s culture.
The Prime Minister also urged institutions and political parties to stand together in the national interest. His remarks linked the Vijayadashami celebration with a broader message of collective responsibility and opposition to forces that harm the nation.
